HOW IT WORKS
The museum, municipality or park builds its own digital route. It maps points of interest, uploads content and chooses the accessibility modes to offer its audience.
When you open the app you select the mode that suits you best: standard audio guide, audio description for low-vision users, sign language videos for hard-of-hearing users, or Easy to Read and AAC content. The experience adapts to your needs.
The app automatically detects your proximity to checkpoints via GPS. No tapping, no searching: a notification lets you know there is something to discover nearby.
You are at a point of interest. The app invites you to listen, watch or read the dedicated content, in the format you chose at launch. In indoor spaces, use QR codes or Bluetooth beacons.
Narrative audio guides, detailed audio descriptions, sign language videos, synchronised subtitles, AAC pictograms. Every story told in the format that suits you best.
All the content from the route is always available even without being there physically. Prepare your visit from home, revisit highlights, or explore the heritage remotely.
WHO IT'S FOR
Open Tale adapts to the visitor's needs, not the other way around. Four modes, one app.
For all visitors
Audio narrative that activates automatically at checkpoints. The most intuitive way to explore the route, accessible to anyone with a smartphone.
Audio description
Interface optimised for TalkBack and VoiceOver. Detailed audio descriptions for every point of interest, compatible with built-in screen readers.
Sign language & subtitles
Sign language videos and synchronised subtitles for every content item on the route. The territory's story in the language of those who do not hear.
Augmentative Communication
Simplified text, essential audio and AAC pictograms for a more autonomous and less demanding experience, designed for people with cognitive or communicative needs.
FEATURES
Automatic content activation when approaching checkpoints. Works in cities, parks, villages, trails and any outdoor route.
For indoor environments, QR codes and Bluetooth beacons ensure content activation even where GPS is unreliable: museums, churches, indoor sites.
The route can be available in multiple languages with professional translation, adaptation and voice-over. International visitors included.
The organisation updates content, adds new POIs and edits information independently, without technical help. All from a browser, in real time.
The full collection is always available online. Useful to prepare a visit, revisit favourite content or explore the route without being there physically.
From mapping points of interest to producing content, from publishing on app stores to training the organisation's staff.
WHERE IT LIVES
Works, rooms, themed routes: every museum space becomes independently navigable and accessible to all visitors regardless of their needs.
Historic centres, themed itineraries, trails, paths: the territory told step by step, along the streets and squares of every city or village.
Trails, flora, fauna, viewpoints: nature explained through voice, signs and images, for inclusive access to green spaces.
A flexible format suited to exhibitions, festivals and cultural projects with a defined duration. Configures quickly and updates in real time.
